AGRO-SUR offers modern greenhouses for the extensive cultivation of vegetables, flowers and nursery production, as well as for storage and commercial purposes like garden centres They have a high thermal insulation ensuring top-class energy efficiency confirmed by thermos visual imaging. This means that the greenhouses of this type require a minimum amount of energy to provide an optimal environment for the crops. When constructing this type of coating we use the experience gained over the last 20 years and numerous proprietary solutions, to ensure extended lifespan with optimum light transmittance. Thanks to an airbag maintained on a constant basis by a system of computer-controlled pumps, the pneumatic cover with double foil optimizes power consumption and ensures maximum security of the facility in the event of strong storms and hail or extreme snowfalls and frosts. Optionally, cellular polycarbonate panels may be used as cladding.
The robust structure is assembled from galvanized steel sections, for total protection against corrosion.
Technical description of a typical Sur-Pneumatic TM greenhouse by Agro-Sur:
a) General Information
Sur-Pneumatic TM Multi greenhouses are built on the basis of repetitive groups of components (modules), constituting the foundation of the project of the so-called typical facility.
The modules are defined by the following fixed parameters:
width of the module (aisle) - 8.00m; 9.00m; 9.60m; 12.80m.
The width of the typical facility will be a multiple of the width of one of its modules. As part of the same facility, modules of different width can be grouped;
the length of the module (field) - determined by the spacing of supports, available in the following groups:

The length of the facility is a multiple of the length of the external field;
total height of the facility - determined by the sum of the sidewall height (from the base to the gutter) and the arch height (from the gutter to the ridge).
Sidewall height of a typical block is not a constant value and can range from 3.50 m to 5.00 m*. The height of the arch is constant for a given width of the aisle and is as follows:

b) Support parameters of the Sur-Pneumatic TM greenhouse
Greenhouses (with the above-mentioned characteristics) were adapted to the climatic conditions encountered in Eastern Europe in the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Theory of Structures at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Thanks to their properly designed structure, our greenhouses are durable and resistant to any outdoor threats (rain, snow, wind), as well as indoor ones arising from the overload of crops (tomato, cucumber).
Greenhouses are adapted to install any system to control technological processes of horticultural crops: i.e. devices for shade and insulation screens, and blackout screens, sliding and fixed tables, growth lights, irrigation systems, heating etc.
Sur-Pneumatic TM greenhouse consumes approximately 40% less energy than a traditional greenhouse. In addition, the cost of its construction is much lower in comparison the cost of building a traditional greenhouse.
Thanks to the film thickness of 200 microns, kept tight on a constant basis, the air-filled Agro-Sur greenhouse is resistant to extreme weather conditions like hail, frost, blizzards and the film with UV filter is multi-seasonal, withstanding the Polish climatic conditions up to 10 years.
Well thought-out solutions based on European industry-leading components manufacturers enable quick installation time and the cover with foil or PVC plates, while the use of automatic control systems based on computer climate, often with the company's software, ensures perfect climate throughout the year.
Thanks to a good penetration of natural light, the possibility to set up all solutions for crops under shelter, the use of natural insulation and a good ventilation, the Agro-Sur greenhouse is a modern device, applicable to all types of horticultural crops.
All greenhouse projects are carried out in accordance with European standards and regulations related to steel structures, recommended by the European Union.
To ensure the best conditions for cultivation, the Sur-Pneumatic TM greenhouses are equipped with a system of automated devices that further boost energy savings or its optimal use. The system consists of shading and insulation screens, which, depending on weather conditions, either limit excessive overheating or keep the supplied heat for a longer period of time. Additional equipment in the form of irrigation or heating systems is available on a turnkey basis. Gathering weather data for different climate zones and for various types of horticultural crops for over 20 years of experience with this type of facilities was an important element in the design of these greenhouses. Therefore, our greenhouses are optimized to withstand seasonal burden, i.e. snow, hail and strong wind as well as ground frost and frost. In addition, our Sur-Pneumatic TM greenhouses are equipped with climatic computer software, specially developed in our company, based on the optimized operation of all systems and ensuring that the energy consumption is minimized.
Within the Sur-Pneumatic TM Greenhouses series, there are two types:
Sur-PneumaticTM Alpha - facilities based on the structure of plastic tunnels, apart from the covering consisting of a double plastic pneumatic layer. They also vary in terms of the design of the gutters, which in this case are usually non-existent. Besides these facilities are not suitable for connecting into multi-bay structures, and if they are connected, they are referred to as block tunnels.
Sur-Pneumatic TM Multi - the so-called plastic blocks, i.e. multiplied greenhouses forming multi-bay and large-surface facilities. Since their design phase, these facilities are adapted to form interconnected structures, even if we start with the construction of a single aisle. Such a greenhouse with a structure made of many blocks (aisles) can also generally be called the plastic block.
